- Installation of IDAA code
- Installation of Rocket Loader code
- Knowledge of IDAA administrative activity
- Pairing/impairing an accelerator
- Setting up replication
- Adding/removing, altering keys, disabling/enabling acceleration, disabling/enabling replications, gathering stats for tables
- Setting up federation
- Knowledge of the difference between tables, shadow table, accelerator only tables, and reference tables
- Understanding of when queries should be accelerated
- Knowledge about and when to use the difference set acceleration options
- Understanding of the different options to copy data to the accelerators (native loads, loader, and replication)
- JCL
- Db2 Loads
- REXX
- Trouble shooting errors
- Data Studio (experience with IDAA and loader plugins)
Skills nice to have -
- SQL
- DDL
- Setting up Federation
- Handling errors
Be able to write/trouble shoot JCL, REXX and support Db2 objects that support the environment.
