Responsibilities:

Database Management:

Manage and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.

Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and database integrity checks.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Troubleshooting and Resolution:

Investigate and troubleshoot database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and data corruption.

Develop and implement solutions to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime.

Backup and Recovery:

Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for databases to minimize data loss and ensure business continuity.

Test and validate backup and recovery procedures regularly to ensure reliability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a SQL Server.

In-depth knowledge of database architecture, administration, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, including designing and deploying data pipelines.

Proficiency in SQL query optimization and troubleshooting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
