Key Updates to focus on for new recruits:
- SAFe cert is no longer required, that was for the previous skill set.
- Location: local to Arkansas or willing to relocate because of family in the area/strong reason to be there
- Doesn’t need the most Senior resource, he mentioned a mid level is totally fine, and described the people he likes as “common sense leaders”
- They need PM experience and “leadership” experience, 3 years or more is fine for him as long as they have waterfall and agile. He doesn’t need an expert in one or the other, just as long as they don’t have an attitude of being anti agile or anti SAFE since they’ll be part of this new rolled out process.
- He is very focused on the person, personality, sharpness etc. and not accolades/certs
