Previous E-Commerce background experience preferred
About the role: While amid a massive transformation of spinning off their Global Access & Security Business to join forces with Enterprise company, the team is focusing on the creation of a brand-new Salesforce Marketplace and CRM platform. This platform will serve external customers purchasing and utilizing their products as well as internal employees tracking relationship management, customer requirements, details, etc. This is a huge opportunity to step in as a Salesforce SME and build a brand-new Salesforce platform from prototype stage to launch!
Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and integration experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect focusing on Salesforce Commerce Marketplace
- Defining requirements, selecting modules/features, and executing on hands-on strategy to build platform.
- Extensive experience in a Cloud environment – Azure and/or AWS (Azure preferred)
- Strong Agile environment experience at the Enterprise level
- Excellent organizational skills – ability to gather requirements, solution ideas/roadmaps, and work with technical teams to complete tasks.
- “Go-getter” initiative taking mentality with proven ability to lead various tasks with minimal guidance.
Preferred Skills:
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications
- Security/Access Controls product industry experience
- Hands-on VPN/Computer Security engineering background
Responsibilities:
- Work across product, engineering, and business team to define requirements for new Salesforce Marketplace – standing as the Salesforce SME
- Hands-on integration and development experience to take Salesforce Commerce Marketplace PoC (prototype) to full platform launch
- Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and development team by effectively communicating the status of technical roadmaps with business stakeholders. Act as a liaison with architecture team on solution definition, code reviews and deployment practices.
- Contribute to and lead the end-to-end process as needed (solution definition, requirements specification, estimating and project planning + hands on building) to help team make informed decisions
- Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed, guiding development team
