- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst with the last three years as a Lead/Senior Business Analyst working on ServiceNow projects is required.
- ServiceNow TBM/SPM developer experience is a big plus.
- Any industry-relevant certification is desired.
Experience:
- Experience leading complex projects as the Senior Business Analyst
- Strong background with experience in ServiceNow SPM/TBM implementation.
- Must have strong domain experience supporting the development of solutions to manage IT operations and planning.
- Confidence in communicating with different stakeholders, especially with Senior Management is a must
- Strong oral and written communication skills are key
- Excellent presentation skills
- Must have experience in writing Azure DevOps stories clearly from a ServiceNow implementation perspective.
- Must be comfortable working under pressure, prioritizing and balancing competing tasks.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum environments is expected
- Previous experience supporting internal information technology department projects is a big plus
- Competence with the project management discipline is desired
- Familiarity with developing business case documents is an advantage
- Experience with use of Azure DevOps tool required.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Develop strong understanding of the Information Technology Department (ITD), the enabling systems and processes
- Elicit the requirements for the development of Strategic Portfolio Management application on ServiceNow platform to be used for the development of an end-to-end solution to manage the planning through delivery of solutions to meet business needs.
- Develop and manage the Product Backlog for the project
- Provide subject-matter expertise in the discussions with senior management and key stakeholders in the development of business processes and metrics
- Manage the varying levels of stakeholders
- Provide periodic status to the project team and, where required, ITD management
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to develop the detailed solution requirements (Sprint Backlogs), including Sprint planning, reviews, and story refinement sessions.
- Conduct review and approval of the solution requirements with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Participate in the review of design artifacts to ensure alignment with the business and solution requirements.
- Create acceptance criteria and support review of testcases to ensure test coverage.
- Support functional testing, if needed.
- Support demos to stakeholders.
- Validate test plans written by functional tester.
- Help coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for the end users, if needed.
