Additional Experience:

  • HCM Cloud modules (Time & Labor, Absence, Benefits)
  • At least 7+ years of Oracle experience and Extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM
  • Cloud Payroll (plus if consultant has it)
  • Strong business communication and client facing skills. (Mandatory)
  • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, conference room pilots (CRPs), functional configuration, testing, client user training. (Mandatory)
  • Prior implementations of 3 or more ERP systems
  • Oracle Certified a plus.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in ERP implementations in K-12 or Government environments, with a strong understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud, E-Business Suite, or other relevant modules.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and requirements, preferably in a K-12 school district, however those skills in industries such as manufacturing, finance, supply chain, or similar are acceptable.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and subprojects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

 

Position Overview: 
We are looking for a Senior Implementation Consultant to play a key role in the deployment of an Oracle ERP solutions for our client. With deployment underway and challenges with the current implementation vendor the first task is to understand the current state of the HCM implementation and advise the client, as their advocate, how to proceed to go live with base functionality. The consultant will need to work seamlessly with client senior leadership and departments understanding their business requirements, timelines, employee contracts, benefits, state reporting and other key factors so that the vendor's solution meets their needs. The consultant will be responsible for re-baselining the entire lifecycle of the implementation process, including planning, configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, excellent documentation skills, and a strong background in Oracle ERP systems and public education (k-12), with in-depth understanding of HCM's modules and the implementation of them.

Key Responsibilities: 
Work directly with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into system requirements and solutions.
Conduct gap analysis between the client's requirements and the functionality within Oracle ERP applications as currently in progress.
Be the clients program manager for the remainder of the implementation.
Act as a liaison between the client and vendor technical teams to ensure clear communication and resolution of any issues.
Manage project documentation, including creating and updating project plan, requirements specifications, design documents, and other relevant documentation.
