• Gather information on clusters, troubleshooting, and preparing plans for cluster fixes.
• Execute cluster fixes during scheduled maintenance windows on Friday/Saturday nights.
• Handle daily operations, address support tickets, and ensure the smooth functioning of AIX systems.
• Set up and manage both HCMP and POWER HA, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a 24-hour response time during the on-call rotation.
• Keep detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and incident resolutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, with a focus on AIX.
• Proficient in HACMP and POWER HA, with hands-on experience in both setup and management.
• Strong background in working with clusters, developing plans to fix broken clusters, and troubleshooting cluster-related issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Must Have:

• AIX experience 10 years
• System admin experience 10 years
• Large corporate companies (IBM, Verizon, At&T, etc.)
• HACMP AND Power HA
