JOB DETAIL

As a ServiceNow Solutions Architect, you'll tackle challenges of moderate to varied complexity, adapting standardized practices or precedent to analyze data. Operating independently, you'll identify and select appropriate methodologies, exercising discretion and independent judgment for the majority of your time. While you may receive general instructions on non-routine assignments, you'll often require additional guidance on new tasks. You'll make decisions autonomously, with multiple tasks or projects typically reviewed upon completion. Your role involves coordinating contacts for exchanging detailed technical information, both internally and externally. Demonstrating a robust working knowledge in your functional area and of the business, you'll bring a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 6-10 years of experience to the table.

 

Responsibilities:

- Integration of 3rd party software with ServiceNow.

- Development of ServiceNow software solutions utilizing JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML, and CSS.

- Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.

- Integration with other systems through web services APIs: REST and SOAP.

- Familiarity with LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS.

- Development of ServiceNow Connectors.

 

Requirements:

- A degree in computer science.

- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC).

- Strong grasp of best practices in enterprise-class software development using java/j2ee technologies.

- Proficient experience in component-based architecture such as Micro Services and API/Service development.

- Sound understanding of Web service (REST/SOAP) and web service security.
