• 7+ years of experience in Pega engineering and development.

• Solid experience required in IT architecture, infrastructure, and cloud development, engineering, and software architecture design.

• Strong background in backend development, particularly with file-based data interactions.

• Experience with Kafka, streaming services, and data modeling concepts.

• Proficiency in building batch and streaming feeds for optimal data flow.

• Prior experience in migrating applications from on-premises to cloud environments.

• Knowledge of ETL processes and their implementation in a Pega environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead data pipeline design and management, overseeing migration from on-premises to Pega Cloud.

• Utilize ETL techniques and Kafka for efficient data extraction, transformation, and real-time processing.

• Demonstrate expertise in AWS for scalable and reliable data infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Pega solutions for cloud migration.

• Design and implement data models emphasizing normalization principles, integrating batch and streaming data feeds into Pega systems.

• Utilize Pega SSA certification to optimize Pega applications for efficiency.

• Focus on file-based data interactions and ETL processes to enhance integration capabilities.

• Provide guidance on data modeling to optimize structure for performance and scalability.

• Ensure smooth migration of applications from on-premises to Pega Cloud using previous Pega environment experience.

• Integrate Pega applications with external systems and APIs for seamless data exchange.

• Possess strong client-facing and presentation skills to communicate technical concepts effectively.
