Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Technical Analyst/Project Manager for an exclusive and long-term contract opportunity in Columbus, MS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a significant project involving the expansion of an assembly line by 50% and the implementation of a new engine program with a $220M investment.
Responsibilities:
- Define and document project scope, objectives, and timelines based on user stories and Agile methodologies.
- Conduct business analysis duties in Agile/Sprint Planning, including user story documentation, refinement, and coordination with the IT Applications team for delivery.
- Identify, document, and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.
- Assist in preparing and managing a budget based on the project scope, collaborating with IT Management.
- Document and track budgetary estimations and actuals.
- Work with IT Management to identify resource constraints, estimate resource requirements, and identify potential risks.
- Provide project updates to stakeholders and ITD as required.
- Create and manage contracts/POs with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and cost management.
- Perform regular assessments of project execution to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation using prescribed reporting documents and systems.
- Use generally accepted tools and techniques for project management.
- Ensure project delivery is on time, within scope, and within the allocated budget.
- Manage interdepartmental coordination for smooth project execution.

Preferred/Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Project Management or related discipline (preferred).
- Proven experience of five to seven years in managing medium to large projects (required).
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (required).
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Domain knowledge in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
- Proven experience in using popular project management tools such as Agile, Kanban boards, Waterfall (in terms of tollgates), etc. (required).
- Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices (required).
