Lead SQL Application DBA – Hybrid Onsite
Innova Solutions has an immediate need for a Lead SQL Application DBA – Hybrid for our client in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal Lead SQL Application DBA – Hybrid will bring at least 8 years of in-depth experience using Microsoft SQL Server on Windows Cluster, Always on, Nutanix, and Scripting in PowerShell:
- SQL Server 2015 to Current
- 170 databases - very large environment
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- SSRS, SSIS
- Coding, PowerShell guru
- Understands schema and data dictionary
- Thought leader
- Not an Operational DBA
- Job will required local candidates, who can work onsite a min of 2 days per week onsite in Richmond
- This will be a 6 month contract to hire, candidates must be able work W2 at conversion
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
- 8+ years of in-depth experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022 on Windows Cluster.
- Experience in a Lead Database Administrator role supporting and leading a team of Database Administrators and Developers.
- Demonstrated experience working in a large Database environment (150 databases or more)
- Thought leadership in best practices for Database Administration.
- Experience in an Always On environment where systems are continuously available and on the network.
- Strong experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and execution.
- Experienced with T-SQL and scripting in PowerShell.
- Detailed understanding of Database Schema, Data Dictionary, and Database Design.
- Experience with SAN.
- Experience with Nutanix.
