Position Overview/Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of writing procedures and functions in Azure SQL, as well as hands-on experience in migrating SQL procedures/packages from Oracle to Azure SQL. This role requires a deep understanding of query optimization and performance tuning techniques, utilizing indexing, partitioning, query tracing, and analysis of AWR (Automatic Workload Repository) reports.

Top Skills:

5+ years experience writing procedures and functions in Azure SQL

5+ years experience migrating the SQL procedures/packages from Oracle to Azure SQL

Must have experience with query optimization and performance tuning using indexing, partitioning, query tracing and analysis of AWR report, collection etc.
