Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Developer with a solid background in Oracle databases for a dynamic contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Java development and a deep understanding of Oracle database technologies. Proficiency in Snowflake development is highly desirable, with a secondary skill set in Python programming.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Design, implement, and optimize Oracle database solutions for various projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Utilize Snowflake for data processing and analysis as per project requirements.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in development.
- Strong expertise in Oracle database technologies, and database optimization techniques.
- Experience with Snowflake development and Oracle databases
- Proficiency in Python programming language for scripting and automation tasks.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
- Flexibility to work in either Jersey City, NJ, or McLean, VA, with a preference for Jersey City.
Note: While Snowflake development will not come into play for a few months, a strong background in Oracle databases is essential for this role. Candidates should be comfortable transitioning to Snowflake development as projects evolve.
