JOB DETAIL

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager specializing in Retail Assortment Planning to join our team in Atlanta. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the development teams and managing business expectations to deliver innovative solutions for our retail assortment planning needs. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of retail operations, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of driving product success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Leadership: Lead the product development process from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and customer needs.
  • Retail Assortment Planning Expertise: Leverage your expertise in retail assortment planning to develop innovative solutions that optimize product assortment, inventory levels, and merchandising strategies.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor cross-functional development teams, including engineers, designers, and analysts, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, including retail operations, merchandising, and sales teams, to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in retail assortment planning to inform product strategy and drive innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
  • Performance Tracking: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of product initiatives, and iterate based on feedback and data insights.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a focus on retail assortment planning or related areas.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software products in an agile environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
