Minimum Position Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design, User Experience, User Interface, User Research or related field

• Any experience in an Agile software environment

• Proficient using design and authoring tools such as Figma

• In-depth understanding of UI and design systems; knowledge of latest design trends and their role in the commercial environment

• Ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

• Portfolio demonstrating previous experience in UI and problem-solving approaches

• Ability to make deliberate, customer driven design decisions that translate high-level requirements into thoughtful, intuitive, functional interfaces

Top 3 Must-Haves: 
• Interaction Design– must know Figma, have experience working with and applying design systems, brand guidelines and industry best practices, and be comfortable with rapid prototyping
• User Research– must have experience with generative and evaluative research methods such as contextual inquiry, usability testing, surveys, card sorting, etc. 
• Facilitation– must have the experience and confidence to facilitate cross-functional design thinking workshops to inform opportunity definition and solution development

Soft Skills Needed - Collaborative, Ability to balance user needs vs. business needs, confidence to make an impact

Design Collaboration: 

• Work closely with other product designers, product managers, software engineers, ux writers, and user researchers. 

• Foster seamless collaboration within the design team and cross-functional stakeholders.
