Top Consulting is looking to add a Senior Data Quality Analyst with Azure experience; you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data assets. Your expertise in Azure data services will guide our efforts in implementing robust data quality frameworks and practices, leveraging cloud-based tools and technologies to monitor and improve the quality of data across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
o Data Quality Strategy Development: Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive data quality strategy that aligns with organizational goals and leverages Azure's cloud capabilities.
o Data Quality Frameworks: Design and manage data quality frameworks, including the establishment of data quality standards, metrics, and KPIs to assess and report on data quality.
o Azure Data Services Management: Utilize Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks) for data quality checks, cleansing, and enhancement initiatives.
o Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify data quality issues using Azure tools, collaborate with data stewards and IT teams to resolve these issues, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
o Data Governance Collaboration: Work closely with the Data Governance Manager to ensure that data quality practices are integrated into the broader data governance framework.
o Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business users, IT, and other stakeholders to communicate data quality findings, gather requirements, and drive data quality improvement projects.
o Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track data quality indicators, using Azure analytics and visualization tools to provide insights to stakeholders.
o Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data quality and Azure cloud services to continuously enhance our data quality practices.
Qualifications:
o At least 5-7 years of experience in data quality analysis, data management, or a related field.
o Experience in the retail industry required.
o Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, including familiarity with Azure Data Services, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure tools relevant to data quality management.
o Strong understanding of data quality principles, methodologies, and tools.
o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
o Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
o Proficient in SQL and experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
o Experience with data governance and data stewardship practices.
o Knowledge of retail industry data challenges and opportunities.
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
