JOB DETAIL

We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a ServiceNow PPM Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and optimization of ServiceNow's Project Portfolio Management module. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, coupled with expertise in ServiceNow platform customization and administration. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand project portfolio requirements, design solutions, and drive process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of ServiceNow's Project Portfolio Management module, including configuration, customization, and integration with other ServiceNow modules or third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project portfolio structures, and establish governance processes within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Configure ServiceNow PPM workflows, forms, dashboards, and reports to support project intake, prioritization, resource management, and portfolio analysis.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to ensure successful adoption of ServiceNow PPM solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate project portfolio management processes using ServiceNow PPM capabilities.
  • Work closely with project managers and business stakeholders to define best practices and standards for project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ServiceNow PPM solutions, making recommendations for enhancements or modifications to improve efficiency and usability.
  • Implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure project portfolio health, resource utilization, and project delivery outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow PPM applications, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user inquiries, and performing system upgrades or patches.
  • Administer user access, security policies, and permissions within the ServiceNow platform to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators and IT teams to manage platform configurations, releases, and integrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on project portfolio management and governance.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project portfolio management concepts.
  • Experience implementing and customizing ServiceNow PPM or similar project portfolio management tools.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and development.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ServiceNow ITSM modules is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist - PPM) preferred.
