JOB DETAIL

Remember, they need to have enterprise level experience, and worked on an enterprise level application.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Major

• 5+ years of Java Development experience, including prior experience as a programmer in a commercial software development environment.

• Strong object-oriented design skills and a track record of delivering designs to market.

• Minimum 5 years development experience using Java (8 & 11) and Spring Boot

 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience designing and implementing solutions with relational & NoSQL Databases (MS SQL Server, Elastic search, Mongo DB).

• Minimum 5 years’ experience designing and implementing Web Services (SOAP & REST)

• Expertise with developing testing automation including unit and integration testing using frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Monckton and Postman/SOAP UI

• Expertise with development and build tools such as Gradle (preferred) or Maven and Git

• Strong experience with continuous integration and delivery using Get-up Actions and GitLab CI/CD

• Strong background with Linux operating systems

• Experience with Docker building images and Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress, config maps and secrets

• Experience with Cloud providers Microsoft Azure and AWS

 

Additional Notes

This is solely a backend role. Required Skillsets are noted below, as well as nice to haves.

• Java 8+, Spring boot Framework, SQL (Microsoft Server)

• Government Group - Public records combining with public safety records and transforming into LN Database.

• API development, Micro service applications (background in Azure and Elastisearch is beneficial)

• Interview process: 1-1.5 hour interview (try to knock out in 1 round) - overview then technical screening, followed by hands-on hands on coding process. May do a second technical screening/coding exercise

• This is NOT frontend development. Candidates with Web background will not be sufficient.
