Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Technical Analyst / Project Manager to join our dynamic team for a long-term contract role with PACCAR in Columbus, Mississippi. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating various aspects of a new engine program, including project scope, timelines, budgets, stakeholder expectations, and resource management. This role requires proficiency in project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define and document project scope, objectives, and timelines based on user stories and Agile methodologies.
- Perform business analyst duties in Agile/Sprint Planning methodologies, including user story documentation and refinement.
- Identify, document, and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.
- Assist in preparing and managing a budget based on project scope, using input from IT Management.
- Document and track budgetary estimations and actuals, where requested.
- Work with IT Management to identify resource constraints and estimate resource requirements.
- Provide project updates to stakeholders and ITD as required.
- Create and manage contracts/POs with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and cost management.
- Perform regular assessments of project execution to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation using prescribed PACCAR reporting documents and systems.
- Ensure project delivery is on time, as per scope, and within the allocated budget.
- Manage interdepartmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution.

Preferred/Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Project Management or related discipline (preferred).
- Proven experience of five to seven years in managing medium to large projects (required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (required).
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Domain knowledge in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
- Proven experience in using popular project management tools such as Agile, Kanban boards, Waterfall (in terms of tollgates), etc. (required).
- Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices (required).
