JOB DETAIL

Perform Windows Server and Cache system administration, including system design, installation, configuration and management for enterprise class servers and services. To be completed in the timeframe specified by Department work tickets.

Perform proactive daily monitoring for high availability, system data protection, user account management, disk storage management, hardware and OS maintenance and application maintenance for all servers serviced by HMS.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve outages and problems reported by customers

Provide technical expertise, weekly, to assist with the development, deployment, maintenance and implementation of the HMS System including Intersystems Cache upgrades.

Prepare training documentation and conduct training of HMS System Administrators on server administration and best practices to ensure proper setup, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery of HMS systems. To be completed in the timeframe specified by the Department work tickets.

Provide documented details of all server administration work completed with resolution for all resolved tickets and assignments completed in the timeframe specified by management in work tickets.

Qualifications:

The selected Contractor must possess the following qualifications and experience:

 

3 years of experience with command line tools such as Microsoft PowerShell and PowerShell scripting.

7 years of experience working/supporting the development of Web-based applications in .Net, or Java or Intersystems Cache (CSP and/or Zen)

7 years of experience using and managing SQL programming.

7 years of experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.

7 years of experience with customer support.

7 years of experience with enterprise class Windows Server system design and administration, including the proactive monitoring of system environments and problem resolution, user support, printing support, IIS support, certificate management, system application support, Operating System (OS) support, hardware/software system installation, configuration and maintenance.

7 years of experience with business continuity and disaster recovery, planning, including the backup and restore of data, business continuity methods and policies, system high availability and disaster recovery strategy and testing.

7 years of experience with configuration management, administration, and patching of servers, strong knowledge of the Intersystems Cache framework a plus.
