JOB DETAIL

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • 2 years of demonstrated experience with implementing Health Care Systems.
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience with the Department’s HMS system, other clinic management, or electronic health record software.
  • 2 years of demonstrated experience writing, and developing user and system requirements
  • 1 year of demonstrated experience with Agile software development, project management, and testing practices.
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience in analysis, testing flowcharting, and unified modelling.
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience using SQL.
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience with formal software testing.
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop user requirement documents, design documents, and screen presentations based on user requirements, user input, and feedback as directed by the Department.
  • Provide research and analytical services for defects, enhancements, and systems as they emerge, as required as directed by the Department.
  • Meet with the program offices to collect user requirements and facilitate the development of Requirements documentation for defects, and enhancements to the HMS system as directed by the Department.
  • Facilitate development using object-oriented design methodology and design using the Unified Modeling Language and or Flow Charts as directed by the Department.
  • Develop test cases and scripts to test the application and provide support, software testing, and quality assurance to ensure that the application meets requirements, per the user requirements as directed by the Department.
  • Provide work estimates, communication, and updates for Release Planning, Sprint Planning, and Daily Scrum, daily in the time indicated on the work tickets assigned by the Department, to implement system feature enhancements or additions and bug fixes.
  • Document and follow Office of IT processes and ensure compliance with Department Standards as directed by the Department.
  • Complete job-required training as assigned by the Department. Completion verification may include certificates, sign-in sheets, and/or verification via the Department's Learning Management System.
