Job Description:

Coaches the Agile Team, improves processes, and facilitates team meetings/events Fosters adoption of Agile technical practices. Supports the team rules The rules of an Agile Team are lightweight, but they are rules nonetheless, and the Scrum Master is responsible for reinforcing them. Assists the PO in preparing and refining the backlog for PI and Iteration Planning Works with the RTE/TDM to ensure the train meets its overall PI Objectives/ Planning Coordinates with other Scrum Masters, the System Team, and Shared Services in the ART PI Planning events Works with the teams throughout each Iteration and PI Participates in the scrum of scrums Builds a high-performing team Facilitates the team s progress toward team goals The Scrum Master is trained as a team facilitator and is continuously engaged in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity. They help the team focus on creating increments of value each iteration Leads team efforts in relentless improvement and take responsibility for their actions; facilitates the team retrospective. Teaches problem-solving techniques and helps the team become better problem-solvers for themselves. Fosters normalized estimating within the team Removes impediments to the team s progress Ensure the team is following best practice like DOD, Feedback completion within Sprint timeline Revisit the team Quality Metrix Mid and Sprint end Helps team understand and operate within its capacity Helps teams operate under architectural and portfolio governance, system integration, and System Demos
