JOB DETAIL

MUST HAVE:

Healthcare domain experience. PMP is a MUST.    

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of Financial Management System replacement project through budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers, and planning the project release.
  • This project will have multiple workstreams and several integrations of Financial Management systems into several platforms and applications.
  • Coordinate vendors and consultants, and business staff as assigned, in the execution of Business & IT projects and related procurements.
  • Coordinate and oversee the development of proposals, statement of work, statement of requirements and RFP responses.
  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work.
  • Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness.
  • Facilitate multi-disciplinary teams in the development of plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for completion of a project.
  • Oversee and manage execution and/or coordination of day-to-day project activities as required.
  • Manage working relationships with key stakeholders, including executive management, business management, vendors, project sponsors, suppliers, and technology management.
  • Track and communicate a project's progress from a schedule, cost, and risk perspective to the project team, customers, and project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external (vendor / Suppliers) and internal technology leads and solution architects to incorporate agency best practices into project plans.
  • Drive consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle, including, execution of procurements, definition of project plans, resource allocation, management of project risks, scope, and schedule, delivery of value, and well-ordered transitions to operations.
  • Monitor progress by third-party vendors and define and measure their progress with metrics.
  • Develop and maintain project budget, plans, task lists, schedules, risks, and status, to include resource allocation and schedules.
  • Adhere to project management practices and governance requirements.
  • Facilitates resolution of technical issues.
  • Leads and coordinates the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating and planning for single or multiple work-streams.


Required Skills:

 

  • 5 Years - Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • 5 Years - Ability to lead others to implement new approaches, systems, structures, and methods.
  • 5 Years - Solid understanding of software development life cycle models.
  • 5 Years - Ability to understand technology at the level to help represent project team in multiple forums.
  • 5 Years - Strong experience leading the business and IT resources through the discovery and documentation of business and technical requirements.
  • 5 Years - Exceptional knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management principles and practices. In addition, the ability to blend them together.
  • Active PMP cert (from PMI).
  • 5 Years - Experience in leading large program with multiple workstreams.
  • 5 Years - Experience in working vendor and implementing vendor solutions.
  • 5 Years - Ability to run scrum, kanban or waterfall project management best practices.
  • 5 Years - Strong experience in developing, executing, and managing cloud hosted SaaS implementation projects.
  • 4 Years - Experience with Data Modernization & Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Expedience with Oracle Financials.
  • 4 Years - Technical Background.
  • 4 Years - Experience in managing projects to build, replace and implement Financial Management Systems.
