JOB DETAIL

Role Overview:

•             Understanding of MS Dynamics

•             Ability to understand and interpret key business data sets and domains

•             Understanding of Financial/accounting data and reporting including income statements, GL, Expenses, and Balance Sheet data

•             Understanding of Human Resources and Employee data sourced largely from Oracle HCM, and Reporting

•             Understanding of Project and Contract data and reporting including Project accounting and revenue management

•             Understanding of Vendor management data and reporting including Accounts Payable

•             Understanding of semantic, logical, and physical data models

•             Basic understanding of PowerBI including the ability to create own reports if needed

•             Ability to write detailed functional requirement documents

•             Ability to drive inferences from the data and the ability to improve design for reports and dashboards

 

Responsibilities include:

•             Lead the functional design process, ensuring alignment of reporting requirements, and data selection criteria.

•             Guide the technical team to comprehend data flow, dependencies on associated master data, and process logic conditions.

•             Dive into large datasets, extract relevant information, and interpret it. Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that can inform strategic decisions

•             Work with the MS Dynamics PMO and Development team to assess how changes being made to the processes and screens/views on Dynamics will have downstream impacts on the Enterprise Data Model and Reporting

•             Lead root-cause analysis and devising practical solutions where the technical team needs assistance with understanding the business logic or functional flow of data.

•             Assist in data preparation to enable report development and testing.

•             Lead testing for the domain they are responsible for to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

•             Attention to Detail: The ability to meticulously analyze data and reports to draw accurate conclusions. Collaborate with the business teams to ensure seamless alignment between desired business processes and the data generated within Dynamics.
