EES is currently built on SAP tools (ABAP and UI5), and integrates with several SAP modules, most significantly Work Management.

Qualifications:

·        SAP background

·        Electric Ops background

·        Electric and Gas distribution experience at a utility company

·        Knowledge of assets involved and the front end processes (project design and estimating; field inspections; etc) vs the back end construction or performance monitoring.

·        Asset Registry

Responsibilities:

·        Manage the changes and improvements needed to EES, which are frequent due both to regulatory decisions and to the age of the application.

·        Guide EES towards the future architecture needed as moves to SAP S/4 HANA over the next three to four years. That architecture discourages integration with and customization of core SAP functionality and encourages moving applications either off SA{P technology or to a more modular structure based on SAP Business Technology Platform.
