1.     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

2.     Proven experience working with PostgreSQL 9.6 in a production environment.

3.     In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, internals, and administration.

4.     Strong SQL and database design skills.

5.     Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.

6.     Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

7.     Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

8.     Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

9.     PostgreSQL certification(s) is a plus.

10.  Familiarity with other database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server is a bonus.
