Lead the assessment of clients' mainframe environments to determine the best migration strategy to AWS.
Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architecture solutions that meet clients' business and IT needs.
Develop and implement migration plans, including the integration of AWS services with legacy mainframe applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, database administrators, and application developers, to ensure successful migration.
Provide expertise on AWS services relevant to mainframe migration, such as AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Mainframe Modernization, and AWS Lambda.
Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams on AWS cloud technologies and best practices for mainframe migration.
Monitor and optimize migrated systems to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Stay abreast of the latest AWS features, services, and best practices to continually improve migration strategies.

Required Qualifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT architecture, including at least 2 years focused on mainframe migration to cloud environments.
Proven track record of successful mainframe migration projects to AWS.
Deep understanding of mainframe technologies, architectures, and legacy application dependencies.
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, architecture best practices, and migration tools.
Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
