1. Linux Administration.
- Understanding of basic concepts and commands.
- OS installation
- Understanding of RAID, LVM and filesystem management
- User management including LDAP
- Package management
- Linux network configuration including bonding.
- Administration and troubleshooting of NFS, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SNMP.
- Basic understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting including IP addressing, VLANs etc.
- Basic scripting skills with Bash/Python
2. Virtualization
- Experience with Virtualization technologies like VMWare
3. Hardware
- Experience in working with different server hardware like Dell, HPE etc.
- Exposure in racking and cabling physical servers.
- Exposure with Data center environment.
4. Basic understanding of Windows servers and Active Directory.
- Good to have following skills but not mandatory.
- Configuration Management tools like Ansible/Puppet/Chef.
- Experience with any one Enterprise Storage systems like NetApp/EMC/3PAR.
- Experience with any one Backup solutions like NetBackup/Veeam.
- Exposure to automations tools like packer/terraform.
