JOB DETAIL

  • Coach teams in self-organization and guide teams towards higher maturity
  • Expert knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts including definition of done, user story refinement, automated testing, backlog refinement, and PI Planning
  • Supports team members in resolving conflicts, problem-solving, and decision-making
  • Persuades rather than uses authority as servant leader
  • Support team member development, helping them gain a continuous learning mindset
  • Help the team provide transparency by ensuring information radiators are updated
  • Coach and train the team on methods beyond Scrum, such as SAFe, Kanban, Flow, Built-in Quality, BDD, and more
  • Prepare for the team for PI Planning
  • Facilitate Iteration events to plan, sync, review, inspect work, and retrospect
  • Work within the ART’s cadence and synchronization to ensure alignment, dependency management, Release on Demand, and fast integrated learning cycles
  • Collaborate with the PO to help maximize the solution’s value
  • Establish the team Kanban board to visualize their work and enhance flow
  • Measure and optimize flow, competency, and outcomes (OKR) metrics to assess and improve overall performance
  • Coach Built-in Quality practices to enable fast, reliable execution
  • Foster and support Agile Team attributes of self-management and collective; Alignment and collaboration focused on clear goals and purpose; transparent communication and trust; foster fun
  • Encourage high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement
  • Actively work to become a more effective Scrum Master/Team Coach
  • Serve the team and the larger organization supporting the overall adoption of SAFe across the enterprise by coaching stakeholders and non-agile teams on effective interactions with Agile Teams
  • Participate in CoPs, and support SAFe Practice Consultants (SPC)
  • Serve as Lean-Agile Leader modeling the mindset, values, and principles for others
  • Help the team acquire T-shaped skills
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to bring whole product solutions to market
  • Represent the team in all ART events and attend other team’s events as necessary
  • Build trust between team and stakeholders for improved alignment and reliable, predictable forecasting
  • Coach the IP Iteration to ensure the team does not schedule any work for the IP Iteration and foster time for innovation, continuing education, PI planning, and the Inspect and Adapt (I&A) events
