Experience (Years):8-10
Proficiency in Engineering and Managing Replication technologies like Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Stream
Proficiency with Linux/Unix command line and vi editor
Shell scripting and python coding experience
Experience in Database engineering projects and Production Support
Familiar with multi-target replication and various source data platforms
Strong Experience with various replication products
Strong Experience with various data platforms (OLTP, Data Warehouse and Databricks)
Hands-on experience with minimum 8 years’ experience
Airflow knowledge
Data modelling and performance tuning experience
Proven knowledge of Designing, Engineering and Managing Oracle RAC One Node infrastructure
Proficient in data engineering architecture experience
Strong Troubleshooting and triage experience with quick response times(15min), must be available on short notice should production issue arises
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to design, implement and support scalable architecture and support large database replication implementations
Must have great attention to detail in planning and technical documentation
Familiarity with; Software administration (installs/upgrades), monitoring and alerting development and support
Proficient in preferred (Oracle, Sybase, Postgres), nice to have (MS Sql Server, Snowflake, Databricks)
Certifications in Oracle, AWS
Goldengate Microservices and Bigdata experience a plus
