JOB DETAIL

  • 5+ years of Data Designer experience.
  • 7-10 years industry experience.
  • Property & Casualty insurance experience (Preferred) or at least be familiar with it.
  • Communicate at all levels.
  • Should have been Data Analyst prior to being Data Designer.
  • Highly skilled at building complex conceptual, logical and physical data models which are visual representations of an enterprise’s business data. Experience with Erwin or other modeling tools is required.
  • Highly skilled at systematically applying logical reasoning techniques to query, inspect, cleanse, profile and study data in structured, semi-structured, and unstructured formats for the purpose of deriving knowledge to support business decision-making and mapping data between source and target systems to support application integrations.
  •  Highly skilled at SQL Programming with the ability to perform the most complex queries against relational databases in an efficient manner.
  • Knowledgeable at transforming data into compelling, meaningful and appealing visualizations, such as graphs, dashboards and reports, using intuitive industry visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Excel).
  • Knowledgeable at designing and developing meta data models, frameworks, dimensions, reporting objects, templates, drill downs all within the Cognos Framework Manager, Reporting and Dashboard applications.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field or commensurate experience.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Agile development experience required.
