• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize Hadoop solutions on PowerScale infrastructure.
• Lead migration projects from Cloudera to PowerScale, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to operations.
• Architect scalable and high-performance solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal teams and clients on Hadoop architecture and solution design.
• Conduct system analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize Hadoop clusters.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Hadoop Architect or Solution Architect, with a focus on migrations and upgrades.
• Extensive knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components, including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Spark, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera migration to PowerScale or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering successful Hadoop solutions in enterprise environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP) or Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) Certification is a plus.
