- Engage with business users to elicit comprehensive requirements for dashboard features, aesthetics, and data representation.
- Accurately document business needs, detailing data sources, key metrics, and any bespoke features to be transferred or optimized within Google Looker.
- Collaborate with data engineers and visualization specialists to convert business needs into precise technical specifications.
- Develop product wireframes.
- Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders related to validation and sign-off.
- Confirm the fidelity of migrated dashboards to business requirements through thorough testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination.
- Educate and assist business users in adopting the new Google Looker dashboards, facilitating a smooth transition and integration.
- Act as an intermediary between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and a mutual understanding of the migration efforts.
- Keep diligent records of user input and revisions of the dashboards to foster ongoing enhancement.
- Oversee the dashboard migration project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong portfolio in dashboard development and data visualization projects.
- Prior experience with advanced visualization tools (OBIEE, Google Looker, Tableau, PowerBi, or similar BI tools).
- Experience in the healthcare sector and knowledge of relevant data compliance regulations.
- Exceptional ability to document complex business requirements with clarity and precision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on stakeholder management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL and understanding of data modeling concepts.
- Epic Reporting Workbench or Epic Clarity Revenue Data Model certification highly preferred.
- Prior experience with OBIEE and familiarity with Google Looker or similar BI tools.
