JOB DETAIL

  • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.
  • Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
  • Researches, tests, build, and coordinate the conversion and or integration of new products based on client requirements.
  • Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
  • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Acts as team leader on projects.
  • Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
  • Participates in development of software user manuals.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development of the modules ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM 
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.  11 Years
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.  5 years
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow Architecture and ServiceNow Scripting.  5 years
  • 16+ yrs. troubleshooting production problems related to software applications
  • Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of service management processes, procedures, and software, and including knowledge of ServiceNow.

Highly Desired Skills

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist(CIS) certification
