Data Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field is preferred

• Minimum of 5-7 years of data warehousing, data lifecycle management, and computer programming experience

• Experience in database design and data modeling

• Experience with structured query language (SQL)

• Strong learning orientation and curiosity; comfortable learning new systems/software applications

• Strong analytical thinking skills and problem-solving skills

• Solid written and oral communication skills

• Knowledge in multiple of the following is preferred:

• MS Azure: Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Synapse

• Azure Data Factory/SSIS or related tool

• Business visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

• Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing, data mapping, and data conversion activities.

• Well versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle and methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity.

• Excellent written and oral communication, as well as strong organizational and presentation skills

• Exhibit a strong desire to understand the organization, its industry, and its strategies.

• Possess a solid overall understanding of technology concepts, trends, and capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships within and between individuals and cross-functional teams.

• Understands and demonstrates the company’s core values of Communication, Consideration, Cooperation, Accountability, and Innovation

• Working knowledge of agile methodology framework is a plus.
