• Design, develop, and deploy real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Flink and Kafka and knowledge of how to implement these platforms in a highly secure and available architecture.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance, reliability, and low-latency processing.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and stability of real-time data pipelines.
• Contributions to the open-source community, including code commits, documentation updates, and engagement in forums or mailing lists.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 12+ years' experience in Apache Flink, Kafka, and Java development. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Flink and Kafka internals.
• Understanding of how to use CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with the NATS messaging system.
• Familiarity with Chef.
• Knowledge of Go programming language.
• Having worked with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS and Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka.
• Previous work with Apache Spark.
