JOB DETAIL

ETL Development:

  • Develop, test, and implement ETL scripts and jobs for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into target data warehouses using ODI.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the ETL process.

Data Management Framework:

  • Visualize and design the enterprise data management framework.
  • Specify and implement processes for planning, acquiring, maintaining, using, archiving, retrieving, controlling, and purging data.

Data Integration:

  • Perform data integration tasks to combine data from disparate sources into a cohesive and usable format.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and database administrators to ensure seamless data integration.

Data Warehouse Administration:

  • Administer and maintain the data warehouse environment.
  • Optimize data warehouse performance and ensure scalability to meet project demands.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with project stakeholders, including the State of California, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Proficiency in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, architecture, and administration.
  • Experience in data engineering and data integration.

Project Experience:

  • Previous experience working on high-visibility projects, preferably for government entities.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex data integration projects.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to be on-site in Sacramento, California 2-3 days per week.
  • Availability for a 2-3 year contract period.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other data integration tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms and services.
  • Certifications in data management, cloud technologies, or related fields.
