• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years work experience in communications, training, instructional design, or related field
• Ability to follow directions and receive constructive feedback
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent grammar and attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint/Canva
• Experience documenting process flows and standard operating procedures
• Digitally savvy, self-starter, dependable, and highly motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to shift priorities and adjust focus as needed
• Excellent planning, organizational, time management, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
• Experience coordinating and facilitating in-person & virtual meetings/trainings
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BBA, or BS), or higher
• Proficiency with instructional design methodology (i.e., ADDIE)
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools and software for documentation and content development (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator)
• Comprehension of organizational change management best practices and concepts
• Microsoft SharePoint administrative experience
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Camtasia)
• Experience providing training through digital adoption platforms (e.g., Whatfix)
• Familiarity with Atlassian collaboration software (i.e., Confluence, Jira Service Management)
• Familiarity with project methodologies (i.e., agile, Kanban)
• Analytical mindset and ability to process information using data and technology to develop innovative solutions
• Knowledge of technology and electric utility-based concepts including advanced metering, customer information systems, security and networks
