Develop technical designs for application development.
Write well designed testable code.
Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
Manage Java and Java EE application development.
Develop documentation to help users.
Prepare and help produce releases of software components.
Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review.
What Sets You Apart:
Must be able to perform the responsibilities listed above.
BS degree or equivalent experience and 2 or more years of prior relevant experience.
Must be able to perform the work of a full stack Java developer.
Must be proficient in writing well designed and testable code.
Must have demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry trends and standards.
Must demonstrate strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
Must be familiar with the software development kits (SDKs).
You Might Also Have:
Experience working on projects in an IRS/Treasury environment.
A certification in Agile methodology, a plus.
Excellent coding skills either Python or Scala, preferably Python.
Clearance Requirements:
Candidates must be able to pass an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) security background check prior to start date.
Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and be Federal Tax compliant if not, candidate will not be considered.
