JOB DETAIL

  • Comment: I need a sr person with retail or ecommerce experience. Need a lot of azure, strong python, performance optimization, CDN/Akamai
  • 10+ Years of US based experience is must
  • 7 years of programing in one or more scripting languages (Python, Azure CLI, or PowerShell)
  • 5 years of experience in an enterprise SRE role for a larger national corporation - ecommerce focus preferred
  • 5 years of experience in the following technologies:
  • Azure (highly preferred) or other cloud providers
  • Equinix network, Akamai CDN and Azure Gateway
  • Infrastructure monitoring tools like Zabbix, and Prometheus
  • RHE systems administration
  • 3 years of experience in observability best practices working with New Relic or similar tools
  • 3 years of experience in the following technologies:
  • Databases like MongoDB, Oracle, Couchbase, Redis, MySQL
  • Frameworks such as Dust/Angular, Nodejs, Spring Boot
  • Log Analytics like Splunk, ELK/Elastic
  • DEM tool like Fullstory
  • CI/CD tools such as Puppet, Jenkins, Terraform or Ansible
  • BS in Computer Science or a related field
  • Azure certification as a Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer preferred
  • Good with Excel and Google Sheets and has previously used JIRA for ticket management.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem solver.
  • Good concentration and is able to work at the computer for extended periods of time.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, deliverable focused environment.
  • Open to learning new technologies, approaches, methodologies and processes.
  • Able to work on their own initiative to develop solutions to various problems.
