Perform SAP BASIS Administration support for DOR Projects.
Support for CRM, ECC, BW, Portal, Fiori, and Business Objects applications including performance monitoring, transport migration, system copies, upgrades, patching, and problem support.
Provide MS SQL server and HANA Database support.
Provide Azure Cloud administration support.
Responsible for patching, upgrading, monitoring, and tuning databases.
Support migration of SAP to S/4HANA and BW/4HANA.
Use SQL server log shipping and HANA replication for Disaster Recovery.
Maintain backup scripts and configurations for SAP systems.
Provide after-hours support and other related Basis duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Over seven years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA Basis administration tasks.
Expertise in SAP HANA administration including architecture design, capacity planning, disaster recovery, backup & recovery, storage systems, HANA revision upgrades.
Experience in supporting Basis tasks for S/4 HANA conversion, implementation, and data migration.
Experience with managing SAP landscapes on Azure Cloud.
Experience with administering and configuring Cloud services in BTP.
Experience with High-Availability (HA) setup and configuration of HANA database.
Proficiency in using SUM DMO procedure with focus on downtime optimization.
Well versed with SLT and SAP Fiori Administration.
Experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools.
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and SAP Enterprise Services Architecture.
Ability to map business processes to SAP technology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA administration.
Certification in Azure, GCP, or other cloud options.
S/4 HANA Administration certification.
Experience with SAP/HANA/S4 HANA migrations.
Knowledge of ITIL and how it maps to SAP solutions.
Knowledge of Linux on SAP HANA databases.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field, or equivalent work experience.
