Project Summary

This is a Firearms IT Modernization Project that requires Organizational Change Management. The DOJ built and operates seventeen (17) Firearms IT Systems, in response to the needs of the citizens of California. These systems support the education, regulation, and enforcement actions regarding the manufacturing, sale, ownership, safety training, and transfer of firearms.

The current systems and architecture are in attrition. Therefore, this FITSM development framework will provide a path to enable DOJ to respond to changing business needs and legislative mandates efficiently and, in a cost-effective manner.
