• Involve in all facets of WebFOCUS BI application design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. 

• Capable of working independently without close supervision. 

• Formulates client requirements into written form and transforms them into specifications and development tasks. 

• Performs data analysis and modifies or recommends changes in the database to facilitate reporting applications. 

• Extensive experience with WebFOCUS/AppStudio & InfoAssist. 

• Data modeling for report optimization. 

• Develops successful Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions in data warehousing, analytics, reporting, portal, and dashboard development. 

Skills Required: 

• Experience with business intelligence tool Information Builders WebFOCUS  

• Experience using SQL/Relational databases like DB2, SQL, Netezza, HTML 5, and JavaScript. 

• Ability to combine business needs and requirements into technical architecture for a data-driven solution. 

• Define and oversee the full development lifecycle for external/internal facing BI solution WebFOCUS. 

• High-level design, development, documentation, and testing of solutions. 

• Knowledge of external facing UI development using Portal development and BI technologies, using WebFOCUS. 

• Works on complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. 

• Display a working knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS), including both legacy DBMS’s and relational/SQL DBMS’s. 

• Acquire a working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets for creating and interfacing WebFOCUS reports in a self-service environment. 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

• Background in medical and health insurance industry preferred.
