- Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications and systems using Assembler language.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Enhance and maintain existing mainframe applications to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement Connex and Switch configurations to enable secure and efficient communication between mainframe systems and external platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mainframe applications, Connex, and Switch configurations.
- Conduct code reviews, performance analysis, and optimization to ensure code quality and system efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to mainframe development, Connex, and Switch.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Mainframe Assembler Engineer, with strong proficiency in Assembler language programming.
- Hands-on experience with Connex and Switch technologies, including configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with mainframe environments, databases, and tools (e.g., COBOL, JCL, DB2) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Certifications in mainframe technologies or Connex/Switch platforms are advantageous
