Analyze the current batch environment for the defined jobs and the number of cyclic jobs and executions.

Check all jobs for validity and necessity of execution, working with application teams to delete obsolete jobs.

Enforce Site Standards rules to control job definition by applying restrictions.

Observe repetitive job failures, analyze job logs and outputs, and update jobs with on-do actions for specific return codes or messages.

Perform batch jobs assessment for better automation/optimization to reduce incidents/requests year-over-year.

Generate alerts report and batch jobs workflow for housekeeping jobs.

Proactively monitor with ESP for delays and errors in batch jobs processing.

Generate batch failure reports, identify repetitive failures, and take corrective actions with appropriate application teams.

Eliminate risks and errors, reduce alerts/tickets, and ensure continuous batch jobs processing.

Eliminate unused batch jobs and maintain a clean batch environment.

Manage enterprise batch scheduling and update batch job properties upon request.

Process service requests, participate in major incidents impacting batch processing, and handle change ticket processing, JCL changes, batch job setup, testing in lower environments, change management, incident management, and training.
