Knowledge of best practices in data modelling techniques including various normalization, dimensional modelling, and their appropriate usage in various solutions
Experience in large-scale enterprise and data warehouse initiatives involving multiple departments
Proficiency with data visualization, data migration, and data modelling
Experience with relational database management systems, DBMS software, including SQL Server
Familiarity with machine learning, predictive modelling, and natural language processing
Proficiency with data mining and modelling tools, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data
Experience with database and cloud computing design, architectures, and data lakes
Ability to transfer and mentor skills and communicate technical documentation effectively
Responsibilities:
Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative, and functional design
Collaborate with IT teams and management to devise a data strategy that addresses industry requirements
Build an inventory of data needed to implement the architecture
Research new opportunities for data acquisition
Identify and evaluate current data management technologies
Create a fluid, end-to-end vision for how data flows through an organization
