JOB DETAIL

  1. Project Planning and Management:
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  2. Technical Oversight:
    • Provide technical guidance and support to the production support team, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and support of Java-based applications.
    • Oversee the implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
  3. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
    • Facilitate meetings with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, performance metrics, and outcomes.
  4. Risk and Issue Management:
    • Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
    • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and ensure the implementation of preventive measures.
    • Ensure timely resolution of project issues, minimizing impact on production environments and business operations.
  5. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization within the project lifecycle.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in project management and production support.
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.
