Summary Responsible for planning, designing, developing, monitoring, and supporting new and existing software and web applications in a 24x7x365 global environment. Test script development, testing automation, participate in operations activities, develop and perform monitoring activities, while debugging software components in a complex and innovative environment. Document all activities working in an agile team progressing aggressively in 2-week sprints. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge. Key technical skills required are: Test automation, Python, Java REST Assured, SOAP UI. Addition preferred skills are SQL, AppDynamics, Kibana, and Concourse. Agile and Jira experience preferred. This environment has engineers working in Dot Net, Azure, IoT Hub ... Core Responsibilities - Must be a strong team player, an excellent communicator, and possess and display a positive attitude. Must be able to learn quickly through self-guided learning. Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty. Works on projects under aggressive timelines with a requirement for very high quality. Designs, develops automated test scripts for new software and web services. Provides support for applications under development and enhances current applications. Assists in the roll-out and monitoring of software releases. Provides quality assurance guidance throughout the design, development and testing process and direction with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Quality Engineers.
