Mainframe Automation EngineerRequired Technical Skill Set** z/os maintenance, DB2, CICS & MF MQ, REXXMust have - Must-Have** 1. Strong knowledge in mainframe hardware, operation & z/os maintenance, DB2, CICS & MF MQ 2. Understanding in mainframe SMPE, dysprosium testing 3. Automation knowledge- Rexx programming 4. Connectivity test from MF - Rexx programming + socket calls.5. Responsible to understand the current IVPs/ logs files to determine/ provide feedback to the mainframe on any additional ways to validate the MF changes/ upgrade 6. Work with MF team to coordinate with the app dev and the corresponding ETE functional test teams to have them run their regression test for the MF changes / upgrades.Responsibility / Expectations from the Role1. Interact with client team and guide them on best practices. 2. Develop automation framework for Testing Mainframe Infrastructure components.3. Identify new areas where automation can be implemented to enable value add.
