Partner with data stewards and other subject matter experts to curate and govern terms and other assets in the business glossary.
Assist the organizational adoption of the data governance platform by providing user documentation, training, and demonstrations to ensure proper usage and adherence to
processes and procedures.
Partner with subject matter experts to ingest metadata from new data sources.
Partner with data stewards and other subject matter experts to classify and categorize metadata based on sensitivity and establish criteria to protect sensitive information.
Collaborate with the project teams to deliver data catalog use cases which include design, configuration and deployment.
Gather data dictionaries and other business and technical metadata for physical data assets.
Partner with developers to document data lineage for physical data assets.
Create data flow documentation, process workflow documentation and definition, current state documentation and requirements gathering
Communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Perform day-to-day configuration and maintenance of the data governance platform.
Perform audits of glossary and metadata/catalog content and data governance processes.
Collaborate with data governance team to foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Document reference data list of valid values.
